Education Qualification
- Constable (Armed / IRP): Candidates must have completed their 10th grade or High School Examination from any recognized board in India.
- Constable (SDRF): Candidates must have completed their 10th grade or High School Examination from any recognized board in India.
- Constable (Telecom): Candidates must have completed their 12th grade or Intermediate Examination from any recognized board in India.
- Constable (Photographer): Candidates must have completed their 12th grade with Science, along with a 6-month computer course and 2 years of experience in videography / photography.
- Constable (Executive) Jammu: Candidates must have completed their 10th grade or High School Examination from any recognized board in India.
- Constable (Executive) Kashmir: Candidates must have completed their 10th grade or High School Examination from any recognized board in India.

Physical Eligibility
- For Males:
- Height: 5 Feet 6 Inch (minimum).
- Chest girth: 32″ (unexpanded).
- Chest girth: 33 ½ ” (expanded).
- For Females:
- Height: 5 Feet 2 Inch (minimum).
- Chest girth: 32″ (unexpanded).
- Chest girth: 33 ½ ” (expanded).
- Relaxation in Physical Standard:
- Candidates Who belonging to the Gorkha Community and Bot Tribe, the minimum Height shall be relaxable by 2″
